Looking to add a little bluegrass to your wedding in Maine? Need an officiant and some processional music? We Grassholes have you covered! Whether you’re looking for three hours of bluegrass to make your reception everything you dreamed, or a duo to make your walk down the aisle extra special, we can definitely do that!
Look, we’re not going to do “Twist and Shout,” but we’ll play some hot bluegrass that’s perfect for a certain type of wedding. We play three 45-minute sets, and have our own PA system and great playlists for when we’re taking a break. We have extra mics for the speeches, etc., and we are happy to serve as A/V consultants for any music needs you might have throughout the event.
Currently, we’re interested in weddings throughout New England, with pricing adjusted for length of travel and accommodations. Let’s make it happen! Contact us here!
• But there’s more! Our frontman, Sam Pfeifle, is a licensed officiant in Maine and New Hampshire, and he and Heather Kahill, our fiddle player and second violin in the Bangor Symphony Orchestra, have put together a duo solution — hollow-body electric and electric violin — that makes for an elegant and captivating processional and recessional solution. This is what you want to walk down the aisle to! Once you’re at the front, Sam is a practiced officiant who will work with you to make sure the ceremony is well-planned, memorable, and meaningful for everyone involved. Let’s talk!
